ACT for Women and Girls is seeking applicants for the fall 2013 programs
ACT effectively trains and organizes young women to focus on reproductive heath and justice campaigns that impact their communities through education, advocacy, and policy change.
ACT is recruiting for three programs:
Program 1: Female Leadership Academy
An 8 month leadership program looking for young women between the ages of 16-24

Program 2: Teen Success: A support group for pregnant & Teen moms
With groups in Visalia and Exeter the objective of the program is to connect teen moms to resources and encourage them to maintain their current family size while finishing their education. Enrollment is continuous.

Program 3: Peer Education
Fresno Regional Foundation and California Wellness Foundation plan to implement Peer Education training for teens (both male and female). Recruiting for teens 14-18. Participants will be trained on reproductive health issues and justice. Participants will conduct outreach and education to the community.
