The annual event, Art Visalia’s Orchid Sale, begins this Saturday the 5th at noon. It is their biggest fundraiser of the year and all of the spectacular orchids are only $25.00 (what a great Mothers Day gift). All monies go to support their mission to develop, foster, and promote the arts as central to the quality of life in Visalia, through exhibitions, art classes for children and adults, education and outreach programs. I encourage you all to support their endeavors. Afterall, I world without art is much like a world without gays….certainly not as colorful, vibrant or beautiful!
