You can visit the Tulare County Health and Human Services Agencies web page to learn more about the program. You can also see a list of items requested by specific kids to help you in your buying. That web address is HERE. The areas they need the most help with are children under 3 (toys that light up or make sound) and kids 9-12 (especially boys). They suggested sporting equipment, skate boards, games, etc. for that age group. If you want to make it simple, donate cash or gift cards and we will do the shopping for you.
The Visalia Pride Lions Club is also a proud co-sponsor of this event. They help tremendously every year and I’m so very thankful for their contribution. If you can’t locate me, you can always find a Lion to give your donations to. You are welcomed to bring your donations to their meetings held the first and third Monday of each month at Mimi’s Café.
