I’m not sure about the rest of you but I’ve rather enjoyed the enflux of LGBT characters on television lately. Whether they actually identify as part of our community or just play them on TV. Well, according to an interesting article…that’s all changing next year. It seems gay folks and gay characters are getting the axe! Maybe it just seems like a lot because it was all neatly put into one article? Maybe America is saying no more “in your face” storylines, shows, etc.? Could that be a progress thing? Have they realized us gays have boring lives, just like them? Perhaps America as a whole is just watching far less TV? Who knows the answer but I do find it curious that so many gay shows and gay characters will not be returning for more seasons. It’s some scary times, at least for me, when decent adult shows are going away but the likes of hillbilly duck men, family marrying underage gypsies and I can’t even find the right words to describe the Honey Boo Boo clan, are what people are choosing to watch. That’s far more scarier than gay marriage or gay rights could ever be!
