Please join Gay Visalia and MEUSA for a candlelight vigil/protest in honor of National Freedom to Marry Day. It is Thursday, February 12th, at 5:00 pm in Visalia on the corner of Mooney & Walnut by In & Out Burger. Bring your candles and bring your signs. You might even want to bring your umbrellas. This event will be held rain or shine so please plan on attending regardless of the weather.
It seems that for some, we have lost our fire that burned so wildly before the elections. My friends, we still have much work to do. We need to continue our journey of fighting for equality and not retreat back into the darkness. Darkness breeds fear and fear breeds ignorance. We must continue to do our part for our community and our futures. So please, join us on Thursday.
