PFLAG Tulare and Kings Counties is a volunteer group of parents, family and friends of people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT). We welcome members of the GLBT community to our meetings and membership. We meet on the third Sunday of each month.

Bullying and the LGBT community!

Our program on Sunday, September 16, 2012 will address these issues.

We are so fortunate that Elana Landau will be coming to us from Fresno. She began her work as an Assistant United States Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Eastern District of California in 2008. In her current capacity, she is assigned to the Drugs and Violent Crime Unit. In 2009, Ms. Landau was appointed as the designated Civil Rights Prosecutor and point of contact for the Fresno State Office, which included Hate Crimes. . Ms. Landau graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2000 and hold an undergraduate degree from UCLA.

PFLAG provides a safe and confidential space place to talk about sexual orientation and gender identity, and works to build a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

There is no cost to attend, and membership is optional.
